Triathlon Training Camps - 2012

Triathlon swim training Triathlon bike training Triathlon run training

Active at Altitude provides an ideal location for a triathlon training camp.

Not only do we have trails galore for running, from 7,500 feet to over 12,000 feet, we also have incredible roads for riding, over 12,000 feet if you go up and over Trail Ridge Road, and finally a top class aquatic center at 7,500 feet. All of this combined with an amazing climate, clean, clear air, comfortable and relaxing accommodations, high quality nutrition, and a variety of support services you might need, enabling you to focus on what you came here to achieve, train and become fitter, faster, and stronger!
Pro cyclists Phil Zajicek (Fly V Australia) and Chris Baldwin (United Healthcare Trust) stayed here in preparation for the Tour of the Gila and the Tour of California in 2010. They described the training opportunities locally...“the best riding in the country is right here in Estes Park…there are 15 big climbs around the town, with little traffic and perfect training terrain.” See more reaction from Phil and Chris in this press release.

Testimonials

"I came to the camp thinking I already knew most things about triathlon. I expected good training, and good camaraderie, which there was. I didn't expect to learn so much about myself mentally, and I certainly didn't expect to have my eyes opened to so many new ways in which I can improve my triathlon performance. The camp exceeded my expectations!"
James M, CA - on May 2011 camp

Kathleen Allen Triathlete"Terry and Jacqui provided a very personal environment and have become my friends. Their facility and concept are truly uniqe and will become a training mecca"

Kathleen Allen - Team USA triathlete - 2 x winner of Tri for the Cure; 6th place in age group World ITU Championships 2009
