| Welcome to Active at Altitude - Colorado fitness and altitude training and accommodations!
We provide a residential center for athletes of all abilities that supports a wide range of physical activities in an ideal location at altitude. We work on the principle that if you are active you are an athlete!
We are designed to be active - we function better, have fewer health problems, live longer and tend to think more clearly. Why would you want to be any other way! You can benefit from our facility whether you are a casual walker, marathoner or ironman triathlete! We also provide a number of additional support services that you won’t be able to find at a normal hotel, bed and breakfast or guest house, from individual activity coaching to nutritional support and psychological preparation. You can also use your time with us to assess and plan the rest of your life with a UK qualified life coach! The environment provides a retreat atmosphere in quiet idyllic surroundings while also being close to shops, restaurants and excellent training areas.
The centre is located in Colorado, USA, between the highly popular areas of Boulder and Estes Park. We are based at 8,000 feet above sea level, providing an opportunity to live high and train lower that research has suggested is the best way to maximise the benefits of training at altitude. These benefits can be enjoyed by everyone of any ability.
Why not come and stay with us – you will enjoy breathtaking scenery, a wonderful climate (usually 300+ days sunshine each year), trails and roads that vary from easy to as challenging as you can take, unbelievable air quality, and a warm welcome from your hosts – we are confident that you will have an unforgettable experience!
